Healthy Weight - it's not a diet, it's a lifestyle!

So people always want to know why is hard to maintain a healthy weight. Its simple excuses ! Most of the time in my opinion people are just lazy this does include myself. If wew can make exercise and eating fun then I believe everything would be great. The Center for Disease Control and Prevention, (CDC) has an article that discusses the true meaning of a healthy weight.

The key to achieving and maintaining a healthy weight isn't about short-term dietary changes. It's about a lifestyle that includes healthy eating, regular physical activity, and balancing the number of calories you consume with the number of calories your body uses.

This reference will be helpful because it gives actual facts and furthermore it gives detail information about living healthy. The body mass index is also included and it gives you step by step instructions on how to calculate your weight. In this reference each there is a take charge link to help those interested in becoming healthy people in order to maintain a healthy weight. Check the link below to see exactly what I was describing above. http://www.cdc.gov/healthyweight/

  1. So many people fail to realize that the key to a healthy lifestyle and a healthy weight is a balanced diet and physical activity. Advertisers feed us so many gimmicks as quick and easy solutions to poor nutritional habits and obesity. Yes, it's true that these fad diets will work, BUT only temporarily, which society fails to comprehend. We all have that ideal image that we want to look like, but without a life style change that is aimed at healthy eating habits and physical activity, maybe some day we can achieve our ideal look if we are conscious of our habits.

  2. Obesity to becoming a climbing problem for many people and for their pets as well. Keeping a healthy lifestyle is essential to living a longer life. I try my best to work out at least three times a week and pay attention to the food I consume. I use to try to do diets but they never was successful. It's about changing habits, not having a temporary solution because that can be harmful to your health.
